Earth Hour – WWF Madagascar
To take part in the fight against climate change and the preservation of natural resources, 172 countries dedicated on Saturday 25 March to the celebration of the annual “Earth Hour” global event.
The commitment to Madagascar? Planting a tree, saving water, throwing waste and packaging in the trash, etc. The vision is to make Madagascar cleaner and greener by multiplying these small gestures.
Commitments made tangible through the big markets, flashmob and choreography. In Ambilobe, 800 representatives of the population, partners, regional authorities and the Ministry of Fisheries and Fisheries gathered in the rural Anjiabe commune to plant 100,000 propagules, supporting the slogan “mangrove conservation, Conditions of life “. In Andapa, the WWF Andapa family gathered local authorities and heads of institutions around a candlelight dinner and a presentation on energy efficiency in households.
